 Comtemporary Art Fair Opens in Moscow
The Art Manezh Contemporary Art Fair has opened in Moscow, featuring participants from more than 60 art galleries around Russia, Ukraine, Bulgaria, Italy, Israel and other countries.
The exhibition is dedicated to figurative art and interpretation of museum art in comtemporary terms. The exhibition sheds light on the main trends in modern fine art and get you acquainted with the leading artists of modernity.
the Manezh Exhibition Hall usually displays works by artists of the so called "Thaw" period, with such artists as Ernst Neizvestny, Vladimir Nemukhin and Oscar Rabin. However now visitors will be met by two large scale canvases created by the Soviet portraitist and landscape artist Dmitry Nalbandyan.
The exhibition also has a section dedicated to Naive art, which is popular from the 1980s.
The exhibition opens today, December 1st, and runs through December 4th at the Manezh Exhibition Hall located at 1 Manezh Square, metro Okhotny Ryad.
