Tchaikovsky Conservatory Big Hall

The 1800-set big hall, opened in 1901 and designed by Zagorsky, is considered one of the best academic concert halls in the country. It also contains one of the biggest organs in the world, and can accommodate a 130-piece orchestra and 250-person choir. You can hear everything from chamber to orchestral music here.

Tchaikovsky Concert Hall
Built in 1938-1940 by Chechulin at a location originally intended for Meyerhold's theatre.. In 1959 the hall gained a Czech-made Riger Kloss organ. The hall has 1556 seats and is the home of the Moscow State Philharmonic. Symphonic, organ and choral concerts, as well as folk dancing performances, take place here. Thematic exhibitions are organized in the foyer.
